TERMS & CONDITIONS AND TERMS OF USE
Effective Date: August 30, 2026
Last Updated: August 30, 2026
Welcome to United Academy.
These Terms & Conditions and Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your purchase of, enrollment or participation in, access to, and use of United Academy’s website, membership platform, educational library, coaching, mentorship, communities, workshops, demonstrations, events, digital materials, and related products and services (collectively, the “Services”).
For purposes of these Terms, “United Academy,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to United Academy and its applicable owners, affiliates, officers, employees, instructors, mentors, contractors, and representatives.
“Member,” “participant,” “student,” “you,” and “your” refer to the individual purchasing, accessing, or participating in the Services.
By purchasing, registering for, accessing, or using any United Academy Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not purchase, access, or use the Services.
1. NATURE OF UNITED ACADEMY PROGRAMS
United Academy offers private educational content, professional development, coaching, mentorship, community access, demonstrations, business education, product education, educational experiences, and related resources according to the specific membership, program, or service purchased.
United Academy’s Paramedical Tattoo Professional Membership & Mentorship Programs may include, depending on the membership or program purchased:
- Access to proprietary educational libraries;
- Educational videos and digital resources;
- Live group coaching;
- Mentorship;
- Technique demonstrations;
- Case reviews;
- Mentor feedback;
- Community access;
- Business development education;
- Marketing and sales education;
- Product education;
- Educational discussions;
- Optional workshops;
- Optional demonstrations;
- Optional hands-on or experiential educational opportunities; and
- Other professional-development resources.
Specific benefits, access periods, and features may vary by membership or program.
2. IMPORTANT PROGRAM DISCLOSURE — NON-VOCATIONAL MODEL
United Academy’s applicable membership, coaching, mentorship, and professional-development programs are not represented as accredited academic programs, vocational-school programs, apprenticeships, governmental licensing programs, or programs that confer occupational authorization.
Unless expressly stated otherwise in a separate written agreement for a separately regulated program:
UNITED ACADEMY DOES NOT AWARD OR REPRESENT PARTICIPATION AS:
- Clock hours;
- Academic credit;
- College credit;
- Vocational credit;
- Transferable educational credit;
- Apprenticeship hours;
- Licensing hours;
- Supervised practice hours for governmental licensing purposes;
- A diploma;
- A degree;
- A state-recognized occupational credential;
- A governmental certification;
- A professional license; or
- Any other governmental authorization to practice.
Participation in or completion of a United Academy membership or professional-development program does not itself qualify, certify, authorize, or license a Member to perform tattooing, permanent makeup, paramedical tattooing, body art, esthetic, medical, cosmetic, or other regulated services.
United Academy does not represent that participation in its applicable membership or mentorship programs satisfies the educational requirements of any state, county, municipality, licensing board, health department, regulatory agency, employer, insurer, or other third party.
3. NO LICENSING QUALIFICATION OR GUARANTEE
Licensing, registration, permitting, establishment, supervision, bloodborne-pathogen training, health-department requirements, insurance requirements, scope-of-practice rules, and other requirements vary substantially by jurisdiction.
Each Member is solely responsible for determining which laws and requirements apply before performing or offering services.
United Academy does not promise or represent that participation in or completion of any membership, mentorship, workshop, educational experience, or other Service will:
- Make a Member eligible for a license;
- Satisfy governmental educational requirements;
- Satisfy licensing or apprenticeship hours;
- Permit the Member to legally perform a procedure;
- Qualify the Member to open or operate a business;
- Satisfy insurance requirements; or
- Satisfy an employer’s credentialing requirements.
A Member’s ability to legally perform any service is determined by the laws and regulations applicable to that Member and not by United Academy.
4. REGULATORY RESOURCE INFORMATION
United Academy may provide general regulatory information or maintain a Regulatory Resource Center as a convenience to Members.
Such resources are educational and informational only.
United Academy does not provide legal advice and does not guarantee that regulatory information is complete, current, or applicable to a particular Member.
Laws and regulations can change and may differ by state, county, municipality, health department, or other jurisdiction.
Members are independently responsible for contacting the appropriate governmental authority and/or qualified legal professional to determine the requirements applicable to their intended practice.
United Academy does not undertake responsibility for obtaining a Member’s license, registration, permit, establishment approval, insurance, or other authorization.
5. NO EMPLOYMENT OR CAREER GUARANTEE
United Academy does not guarantee employment, job placement, clients, business ownership, income, revenue, profitability, career advancement, professional opportunities, or any particular financial result.
United Academy is not acting as an employment agency through its membership or educational Services.
Any examples of Member accomplishments, businesses, revenue, clients, results, testimonials, or professional outcomes are illustrative only and are not promises that another Member will achieve the same or similar results.
Individual results depend upon numerous factors, including effort, experience, market conditions, location, compliance with applicable laws, business decisions, marketing, sales ability, and other circumstances outside United Academy’s control.
6. PROFESSIONAL AND MEDICAL DISCLAIMER
United Academy’s educational materials are provided for general education and professional development.
Nothing provided through the Services constitutes individualized medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, legal advice, or other regulated professional advice.
Members remain independently responsible for determining whether they are legally authorized and appropriately qualified to perform any procedure discussed or demonstrated through United Academy.
Members are responsible for their own professional judgment, client screening, informed consent, sanitation, infection-control procedures, aftercare, insurance, compliance, and adherence to applicable laws and professional standards.

- Other proprietary materials provided by United Academy.
Purchasing a membership or program does not transfer ownership of any United Academy intellectual property to the Member.
8. LIMITED PERSONAL LICENSE
Subject to full compliance with these Terms, United Academy grants the Member a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and revocable right to access applicable educational materials solely for the Member’s own individual educational and professional-development purposes.
This is a license to access content.
It is not a purchase or transfer of ownership of United Academy’s intellectual property.
No other rights are granted unless United Academy provides express written authorization.
9. STRICT PROHIBITION ON LOGIN AND ACCOUNT SHARING
Each United Academy account is licensed to one individual only.
Members may not share, lend, rent, transfer, sell, sublicense, or otherwise provide another person with access to their United Academy account.
Members may not:
- Share usernames or passwords;
- Permit employees to use their account;
- Permit business partners to use their account;
- Permit coworkers to use their account;
- Permit friends or family members to use their account;
- Purchase one membership for use by multiple individuals;
- Display course content to groups for training purposes without written authorization;
- Stream United Academy content for another person;
- Allow another person to complete or participate in materials through their account; or
- Circumvent technological limitations designed to restrict access.
United Academy may monitor account activity, device activity, login patterns, IP information, simultaneous sessions, and other security information for the purpose of detecting unauthorized account access, subject to our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
Suspected account sharing may result in immediate suspension while United Academy investigates the activity.
Confirmed unauthorized account sharing constitutes a material breach of these Terms and may result in permanent termination of access.
10. NO COPYING, RECORDING, OR DOWNLOADING
Except where United Academy expressly provides a downloadable resource for the Member’s personal use, Members may not copy, reproduce, record, photograph, screenshot, screen-record, download, scrape, capture, archive, duplicate, or otherwise reproduce United Academy content.
This prohibition applies to both recorded and live content.
Members may not record:
- Live coaching calls;
- Training demonstrations;
- Workshops;
- Mentorship sessions;
- Case reviews;
- Educational presentations;
- Platform videos;
- Community discussions; or
- Other proprietary United Academy content
without prior written permission from United Academy.
11. NO REDISTRIBUTION
United Academy materials may not be distributed or made available to any third party.
Members may not upload, post, email, message, publish, transmit, distribute, or otherwise provide United Academy materials through:
- Social media;
- Facebook groups;
- WhatsApp;
- Telegram;
- Discord;
- Google Drive;
- Dropbox;
- Cloud storage;
- Membership platforms;
- Course platforms;
- Websites;
- Email;
- Text messaging;
- Private groups;
- Public groups; or
- Any other physical or digital distribution method.
The fact that a group or communication is “private” does not authorize redistribution.
12. ABSOLUTE PROHIBITION ON RESALE AND COMPETING EDUCATIONAL USE
Members may not use United Academy’s proprietary materials to create, operate, improve, market, or sell another educational program.
Without United Academy’s express written authorization, Members may not:
- Resell United Academy courses;
- Resell United Academy protocols;
- Sell copies or adaptations of United Academy materials;
- Create a course substantially based upon United Academy materials;
- Teach United Academy’s proprietary curriculum as their own curriculum;
- Repackage United Academy content;
- White-label United Academy materials;
- Translate and redistribute United Academy content;
- Create derivative training manuals from United Academy materials;
- Sell United Academy templates;
- Upload United Academy materials into another learning platform;
- Provide United Academy materials to another academy, trainer, educator, school, membership, or coaching organization; or
- Represent United Academy intellectual property as their own original educational content.
Membership does not confer instructor, trainer, educator, affiliate, franchise, certification-provider, or licensing rights.
13. AI, MACHINE LEARNING, AND DIGITAL REPRODUCTION
Members may not upload proprietary United Academy course content, protocols, manuals, transcripts, videos, or substantial portions of United Academy educational materials into artificial-intelligence systems, machine-learning systems, course-generation software, content-generation platforms, or similar technologies for the purpose of reproducing, summarizing into a competing product, training a model, generating derivative educational materials, or creating another commercial educational product.
Members may not use automated scraping, downloading, extraction, bots, crawlers, or similar technologies to collect United Academy content.
14. ENFORCEMENT OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
Unauthorized copying, recording, redistribution, resale, account sharing, publication, or commercial exploitation of United Academy materials may constitute a material breach of these Terms and may violate applicable intellectual-property laws.
United Academy reserves all rights and remedies available under applicable law.
Depending upon the circumstances, United Academy may:
- Immediately suspend platform access;
- Permanently terminate membership access;
- Remove a Member from communities or mentorship;
- Issue a cease-and-desist demand;
- Request removal of infringing materials from websites or platforms;
- Pursue injunctive relief;
- Seek actual damages or other damages available under applicable law;
- Seek recovery of profits attributable to infringement where legally available; and
- Exercise any other lawful remedy.
Termination of access does not waive United Academy’s right to pursue remedies for prior infringement.
MEMBERSHIP & PLATFORM TERMS
15. MEMBER CONDUCT
United Academy is intended to provide a professional, supportive educational environment.
Members must communicate and behave professionally toward United Academy personnel, mentors, instructors, contractors, models, clients, and other Members.
Prohibited conduct includes:
- Harassment;
- Threats;
- Bullying;
- Discriminatory conduct;
- Intimidation;
- Abusive communications;
- Deliberate disruption;
- Fraud;
- Impersonation;
- Soliciting Members in violation of community rules;
- Unauthorized advertising;
- Unauthorized commercial activity;
- Intellectual-property violations;
- Sharing confidential information belonging to another Member or client;
- Illegal activity; or
- Conduct that materially interferes with United Academy’s community or Services.
16. SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION OF ACCESS
United Academy reserves the right, subject to applicable law and any applicable written agreement, to suspend, restrict, or permanently revoke access to its platform, membership, mentorship communities, workshops, educational resources, live sessions, and Services when a Member materially violates these Terms or other applicable United Academy policies.
Grounds may include:
- Account or login sharing;
- Intellectual-property infringement;
- Unauthorized copying or recording;
- Redistribution of materials;
- Resale of materials;
- Unauthorized educational or commercial use;
- Payment default;
- Fraudulent activity;
- Chargeback abuse;
- Harassment or threats;
- Serious or repeated community violations;
- Security violations;
- Misrepresentation of affiliation with United Academy;
- Illegal conduct;
- Conduct creating a material safety concern; or
- Other material breaches of these Terms.
Where appropriate, United Academy may provide notice and an opportunity to correct a violation.
However, United Academy may immediately suspend access where reasonably necessary to investigate suspected misconduct or protect its intellectual property, Members, personnel, systems, reputation, or legitimate business interests.
A Member whose access is terminated for a material breach is not automatically entitled to a refund of amounts previously paid, except where otherwise required by applicable law or a controlling written agreement.
17. “LIFETIME ACCESS”
Where a United Academy offer expressly includes “lifetime access,” the term refers to access for the period during which United Academy continues to make the applicable program, membership resources, community, platform, or substantially equivalent resources available.
“Lifetime” does not mean the lifetime of the individual Member and does not guarantee that a specific third-party software platform, instructor, feature, community, video, course, or technology will remain available indefinitely.
United Academy may migrate platforms, update content, replace materials, retire outdated materials, change instructors, restructure communities, or replace features with reasonably comparable resources.
Lifetime access remains subject to:
- These Terms;
- The Member’s account remaining in good standing;
- Compliance with United Academy policies;
- Payment obligations being satisfied; and
- United Academy continuing to operate or provide the applicable resource.
Lifetime access does not prevent United Academy from terminating access for material breach of these Terms.
18. PROGRAM MODIFICATIONS
United Academy continuously develops its educational resources.
United Academy may reasonably update, modify, replace, reorganize, remove, or improve:
- Course content;
- Videos;
- Educational materials;
- Mentors;
- Instructors;
- Platforms;
- Community structures;
- Scheduling;
- Live sessions;
- Resources;
- Products discussed;
- Demonstrations; and
- Other program features.
Such changes do not automatically constitute cancellation of the membership or entitle a Member to a refund, provided United Academy continues to provide the material core of the purchased offering, subject to applicable law.
19. PAYMENTS
Members agree to pay all amounts associated with the membership, program, product, or Service they purchase according to the terms presented at checkout or in a separate written purchase agreement.
If a payment plan is selected, the Member remains responsible for scheduled payments according to that agreement.
Failure to make required payments may result in suspension of access, subject to applicable law and any controlling written agreement.
Use of a third-party financing provider may also be subject to that provider’s separate agreement and policies.
20. CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
Cancellation and refund rights are governed by the refund policy presented at the time of purchase, any applicable written purchase or membership agreement, and applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms eliminates a cancellation, refund, or consumer right that cannot legally be waived.
A Member’s removal for material misconduct or breach of these Terms does not automatically create a right to a refund.
United Academy may separately publish program-specific cancellation and refund policies, which are incorporated into these Terms where applicable.
21. CHARGEBACKS AND PAYMENT DISPUTES
Members should contact United Academy at support@unitedacademyusa.com regarding billing concerns so that United Academy has an opportunity to investigate and resolve the issue.
Nothing in these Terms prevents a Member from exercising lawful rights regarding legitimate payment disputes.
However, knowingly making false statements to a payment processor, financing provider, bank, or credit-card issuer regarding a valid transaction may constitute a material breach of these Terms and may result in suspension of access while the dispute is investigated.
United Academy reserves the right to provide applicable contracts, login records, communications, access records, acknowledgments, and transaction documentation in response to payment disputes.
22. CERTIFICATES AND ACKNOWLEDGMENTS
If United Academy provides a certificate, badge, participation acknowledgment, or similar document in connection with an applicable membership or educational experience, that document recognizes participation or completion only as expressly stated on the document.
Unless expressly stated otherwise in a separate legally compliant program:
A United Academy certificate does not constitute a governmental license, academic degree, vocational credential, occupational license, apprenticeship completion, or governmental authorization to practice.
Members may not alter a United Academy certificate or misrepresent its meaning.
23. MEMBER RESPONSIBILITY FOR LEGAL COMPLIANCE
Before offering or performing any regulated service, Members are independently responsible for determining and satisfying all applicable requirements, which may include:
- Professional licenses;
- Body-art practitioner registrations;
- Tattoo licenses;
- Permanent-cosmetics requirements;
- Health-department registrations;
- Facility permits;
- Establishment permits;
- Bloodborne-pathogen training;
- Infection-control requirements;
- Supervision requirements;
- Medical-director requirements where applicable;
- Business licenses;
- Insurance;
- Client consent requirements; and
- Other state or local requirements.
United Academy is not responsible for a Member’s failure to comply with applicable law.
24. THIRD-PARTY PRODUCTS AND SERVICES
United Academy may discuss, demonstrate, recommend, or provide access to products, equipment, software, payment providers, financing providers, marketing platforms, or other third-party services.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, United Academy does not control these third parties and is not responsible for their independent acts, omissions, products, services, policies, pricing, availability, or privacy practices.
Members should independently evaluate third-party products and services before using them.
25. ASSUMPTION OF RESPONSIBILITY
Members understand that paramedical tattooing, tattooing, permanent cosmetics, skin procedures, and related services may involve risks.
United Academy provides education and demonstrations but does not control how a Member later applies information outside United Academy’s supervised environment.
Members are responsible for their own actions, professional judgment, scope of practice, legal compliance, sanitation, client selection, insurance, and services.
26. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, UNITED ACADEMY’S SERVICES AND EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”
UNITED ACADEMY DOES NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICES WILL PRODUCE A PARTICULAR BUSINESS, FINANCIAL, EDUCATIONAL, PROFESSIONAL, LICENSING, OR CAREER OUTCOME.
Nothing in this section excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
27. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, UNITED ACADEMY WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM A MEMBER’S USE OF THE SERVICES.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
Members remain responsible for their independent professional and business decisions and for compliance with laws applicable to their activities.
28. INDEMNIFICATION
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Members agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless United Academy and its owners, officers, employees, instructors, mentors, contractors, affiliates, and representatives from third-party claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and reasonable costs arising from the Member’s:
- Unlawful conduct;
- Unauthorized performance of regulated services;
- Material breach of these Terms;
- Infringement of another person’s rights;
- Unauthorized use or distribution of United Academy intellectual property; or
- Services independently provided to the Member’s own clients.
This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim results from United Academy’s own conduct for which liability cannot legally be shifted.
29. PRIVACY
Use of United Academy’s website and platform is also governed by the United Academy Privacy Policy.
The Privacy Policy explains how United Academy collects, uses, stores, and discloses personal information.
30. NO WAIVER
United Academy’s failure to enforce a provision of these Terms on one occasion does not waive its right to enforce that provision or another provision in the future.
31. SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the maximum extent permitted by law.
The invalid provision will be interpreted or modified only to the extent necessary to make it enforceable where permitted.
32. ASSIGNMENT
Members may not assign, sell, transfer, or delegate their membership, account, or rights under these Terms without United Academy’s prior written consent.
United Academy may assign its rights and obligations in connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring, sale of business assets, or similar transaction, subject to applicable law.
33. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
United Academy may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes in its Services, technology, policies, or applicable law.
The “Last Updated” date will identify the most recent revision.
Material changes will be communicated when required by applicable law.
Changes will apply prospectively as required by law and will not eliminate vested rights that cannot legally be modified.
34. ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS AND ACCEPTANCE
Members consent to receiving agreements, policies, notices, disclosures, receipts, and other communications electronically to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Electronic acceptance, including checking an acceptance box or completing a purchase after being presented with these Terms, may constitute acceptance of these Terms.
Members should retain a copy for their records.
35. GOVERNING LAW
Except where applicable consumer law requires otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any mandatory rights available to a consumer under applicable state or federal law remain unaffected.
36. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These Terms, together with the United Academy Privacy Policy, applicable checkout terms, program-specific disclosures, and any separately executed written agreement, constitute the applicable agreement regarding use of the Services.
If a separately signed agreement expressly conflicts with these Terms regarding a particular purchase, the terms of the separately signed agreement will control for that purchase to the extent of the conflict.
37. SURVIVAL
Provisions concerning intellectual property, confidentiality, payment obligations, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, dispute obligations, and other provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain effective after membership or platform access ends.
Termination of membership does not authorize a former Member to retain, reproduce, distribute, teach, sell, or otherwise exploit United Academy intellectual property.
